These People Never Learn...

The Golf Tournament is tomorrow.

In spite of repeated warnings to Those in Charge, I am still on the Mandatory List of Attendees. There has, however, been a slight change in the line up. I will not be golfing.

Someone apparently heard (repeatedly) that I was once barred from a mini golf place. Due to my temper. And my attitude. And perhaps the legendary 'beaning a kid with a mini golf club'. [Alcohol may have been a factor.]

So, no mandatory golfing for me.

Nope.

I'm in charge of registration.

Yeah. Putting an angry, non-golfing sturdy girl in a form fitting golf shirt at the front door is a sure way to get people on the course.

Whatever. It's supposed to rain again tomorrow.

I plan on bringing this to read. Nothing says "Welcome!" like a Destruckto employee actively ignoring the rich.

With any luck, they'll send me home - or up to the office - within the first hour.

I live with not one, but two, avid golfers and I still don't get it... be glad you don't have to suffer through the golf channel playing on at least on tv 24 hours a day 7 days a week in your house!!!!

Good luck tomorrow, maybe it'll rain but good!!

I think you're gonna get rained out tomorrow! When you're done with that book, may I borrow it?

Oh, now if only the rain would STOP? I don't think so.

Enjoy that book, and the awesome power of the registration table!

The only good thing about golf is running people over with the cart.

What is this, some kind of "team-building" exercise? I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
