When it Rains...
The days are flying by; the blog is going un-posted. Chachi has been sick, work has been crazy...and life in general just marches on. I had planned to write (free hand) during my lunch break today, stacking posts to enter over the weekend and stagger the posting date.
Alas, it was not to be, as Nooze woke up while vomiting this morning. It seems that the flu bug has hit hard and fast around here; I'm not really feeling the greatest myself.
I had already scheduled to be out Monday and Tuesday, as Chachi is having surgery (Partial discectomy) on Monday morning. While the surgery generally only takes an hour and is considered outpatient work, the specialist has opted to keep him overnight for observation. His body doesn't accept medications well, so this is simply a precaution. He will be released to come home sometime on Tuesday.
So, the lack of posting isn't due to walking away on purpose. Stuff is just a little out of whack at the moment. I hope to be back to normal lack of posts soon.

I hope Nooze gets better fast - no one else in the house catches it. And I'll be sending positive thoughts your way for Chachi's surgery. You've got a lot on your plate. I'll be waiting for you when you have more time. :-)
The nice thing about the Interwebs is that it will always be here when you come back.
(um, well, unless the new FCC guy goes all "Net Neutrality" on us and then all the ISPs go out of business. But that's a long shot)
Good luck with everything--the sick, the surgery, the work, the living life. I understand that whole "I can't update now" as well as the good intentions to write when I have time and post it later. Never fear, though, we'll be here waiting when you have time! Again, best wishes to all for recoveries!
It is bad enough to have one sick person in the home, but when there's two - all hell breaks loose. I hope Nooze recovers quickly and that Chachi has an uneventful recovery too.
Hope everyone is feeling better soon. Sometimes things just seem to pile up on you. We will still be here when things settle out.

Wow - you have become nursemaid to all. Just find time for yourself, to step back and relax. I hope Chachi and Nooze are feeling better soon, and your life gets back to....normal.
