So.
I attended my 6 month "Am I Dead Yet?" bloodletting this morning. It went off without a hitch. The clinic nurse had me bagged, tagged, drained and dismissed within about 15 minutes. I should have some kind of update within a few weeks.
I return to my Beloved Dr. Yup-Yup on the 11th. I'll keep you informed.
In the meantime, I need to go buy new pants. It seems that a 23+ pound loss (in the past year) means that I am No Longer This Big. The new issue? I have no IDEA what size I am now. Since I am clearly Not a Shopper, this is definitely going to be interesting.

Yay you're not dead!
As for pants size, any decrease that makes you feel good IS good. It's not fun if you're not into shopping, but good luck finding something you feel and look good in. And congratulations again and again for losing weight. It's a hard struggle, and likely a constant life-long one, but you're triumphing! Woot!
Also not a shopper. I'm a buyer. I don't browse, window-shop, comparison-shop, or meander. I need something, I go get it, I bring it home.
Congrats on your shrinking!
I envy you, the problem of guessing a smaller size is only a dream to me. But maybe I will do something about that soon - we shall see. Congrats.
Just get a few smaller sizes and start trying them on! You might be able to find a guide online using measurements to get a round about idea on sizing. WTG!
I like shopping sometimes, but it all depends. I hope you find something that fits without too much trouble!! Yay for the pound loss!
Oh, I'd call you a braggart (:>) but I understand the dilemma at having to go shopping. You look terrific, and should be proud of what you've achieved. Heck, I'll go with ya and ooh and aah and go fetch things if that's what it takes to get you a new wardrobe!
It is a wonderful dilemma to have. Take Tiff up on her offer if you can, the first time I went to buy new jeans I nearly caused the department store staff to call 911 - the noise I made when I slid into the smallest size I picked up scared them to death.
Tiff can run out and announce "it's all under control, no need for defibrillators'.
It'll be FUN.
Luckily, I have clothes in all sizes leading up to this one. I should be able to go without shopping for awhile. My "fat" pants are finally back to fitting without giving me a muffin top!
I went to the mall a while back with the specific intent of NOT BUYING ANYTHING, but just trying stuff on to figure out what the heck size I am now. It was very liberating to try on a ridiculously expensive pair of jeans that I would never consider buying and see if they fit.
Once I found out what size I really am, then I hit the goodwill and bought some new jeans.
