Welcome Home
My uncle Peter has returned safely from a four month deployment to Kirkuk, Iraq. He flew in to Bangor International Airport (Bangor, Maine) sometime during the week of January 20th. He was met at the airport with much fanfare by all of his siblings, in laws, and all available nieces and nephews. When his fellow passengers realized that he was returning from a war zone, they joined in clapping.
On behalf of the scattered remains of the family that couldn't make it - welcome home.

AWESOME! Please welcome him home for those of us that can't...and please, please tell him thank you from us.
Welcome home, Peter - and thank you!!
I know you are so relieved he's back safely.
That's cool that he came back alright. Was he one of the servicemen who's families had to buy his flak vest and other supplies for him?
No, thank goodness. He was over there laying plumbing lines as part of the Army National Guard. He was there for 4 months, and attended something like 13 funerals. Some of the funerals were for kids younger than his. He is very glad to be back home.
Happy Valentines Day Renn!
Yeah, how'd your valentine's go? How'd the TP thing blow over? :Þ
