Mom - In remembrance

I just received the call. My mother has passed away. She was 63. Thanks to all who have kept her in your thoughts and prayers.

Please keep my family in your prayers this week, as we prepare for a trip to Maine for her funeral.

My mother made me swear to make people laugh during her funeral.

I don't know if I can pull this one off.

Renn, I am so very sorry. You will be in my prayers all week, both for a safe trip and the courage to bear up under the strain.

You can do anything. I am sure of that.

But just know that you can choose not to do it for awhile.

I love you and my thoughts are with you and your family.

Oh, Sweetie. Is there anything I can do? I'm here if you need me to get you at the airport or whatever. My email is on my site. Really, anything I can do, anything at all. My schedule is wide open.

I am so sorry, sweetie. I know that there are truly no words that will make this go away, but please know that you, your mom, and your family are all in my prayers.

We'll laugh...maybe not now, but we'll laugh again. Trust me.

I'm sorry, Renn. 63 is far too short a life. Humor is a tough act at a funeral. You might have to just stick with sorrow--I'm sure your Mom will understand.

Renn, I don't know what to say...I am so sorry for your loss -- you are a strong woman and I know that you will find the strength to get through this. As for the laughter, you will do it without even thinking since you will remember something about her that will bring the giggles on -- trust me it probably won't be at the right moment either but you will. Huggs and kisses
