Dancing Queen?
"Momma! Wanna hear the song we're learning in music class?" Nooze asked.
Not quite into my second sip of coffee, I murmured,"Sure, hon."
"Maaaa ma! Maaa ma! Miiiii a! Miii a!" she sang proudly.
Since all of Nooze's songs sound like different variations of "Three Blind Mice", I am at a loss.
She is either being taught to sing ABBA or Queen.
Either way, I'm thinking it's wicked sweet.
I so hope that there's a Spring Concert.

Wow, that would be one progressive music class LOL (I'm still trying to wean Gizmo off of Jingle Bells!! )
I hope they combine the two and you can make and sell CD's!
That's awesome. Record it and post it, because that would be cool.
huh...Hannah spends more time COLORING and watching videos in her music class...sigh. And then the teacher has the gall to say that Hannah needs to pay ATTENTION in music class? Uh...how about CHALLENGING her so that she can actually enjoy the music.
Unfortunately, Hannah is the product of two musicians (one has 2 music degrees in education and performance - NOT me), who are the products of musicians, and therefore, expect that music will be taught in music class.
Mrs A, whistles, and sometimes she uses BOTH notes, so everything sounds like "Three Blind Mice: (LOL)
I too would like to hear the singing -- Happy New Year by the way and Yes -- there will be NO MORE long term guests in my home :)
My nephew used to sing every song to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It brings a whole new perspective to Sweet Caroline.
Oh, I really, really hope it's Queen!
"Momma, I just killed a man..."
Sophie break dances to ABBA.
We really need to get Nooze and Soph together, I think they would just hit it off.
The scary thing is that she's being taught that song as "an oldie" which really dates us.
Dude - what Tracy said.
Because little kids singing ABBA songs has HIT written all over it.
