Nothing Says "Christmas" like a Screaming Guitar

...And I thought that the Doc Marten news was excellent!
The TSO will be performing in Raleigh, NC on Thursday, December 14th. I have wanted to see them in concert FOREVER!
I have requested tickets over the past few years, but have never been able to make it. Until now.
As Chachi and I have very different tastes in music, I told him that I would rather go alone. I didn't say this to be mean; forcing him to attend this concert would constitute torture in his eyes. He thinks of the TSO as "Meatloaf Does Christmas...On Broadway".
I, on the other hand, see this music as pure genius. So I planned to go alone. Until last Sunday morning.
I was talking on the phone to my friend Mel, who is also known as my Complimentary Treehugger Friend (CTF). During the course of the conversation, I mentioned my love for the TSO - and that I would be attending the 12/14 concert solo. I casually asked her if she liked them...
...Only to find that she had JUST bought their latest CD - and that she loved it! The conversation ended with us deciding that we will go to the concert together. She went on line while we were on the phone - and bought our tickets!
This couldn't have been anything other than Divine Providence. Mel's husband is in the Air Force. He recently received orders to head 'to the desert' for three months. He leaves in December. On the 14th.

Last Christmas out on the floor of the Lazy B, I hacked into the big screens and put the TSO videos on the big screens.
LOVE TSO!
TSO will be in our neck of the woods December 6th. I love the instrumentals, not so much with the story-telling.
What wondeful synchronicity is that?! I know you will enjoy it, Renn.
Obviously not going would make the baby Jesus weep. Yay!
I am so jealous!!! TSO and Mannheim Steamroller are two concerts (Christmas) I've always wanted to see! Enjoy! Take pics -- I want a full report!!!
My husband hates TSO so I just turn it up louder >o) Have fun! I am so jealous!
I'm with Wordnerd on this one. I really do wish I could go too, but I can't. Please tell us all about it afterward.
Renn, the people in Cirque are so limber you don't need to cringe on their behalf!!
