For Linda
Last week, I mentioned the delicacy known as "Whoopie Pie Brownies". While this is not exactly what I was served (brownies with nuts), here is MY take on the recipe:
Bake Killer Brownies (without candy bars) - or other recipe to your liking
Allow time to cool.
Cut into pieces (we use a pizza cutter), pop out of pan.
Frost with Whoopie Pie Filling
Whoopie Pie Filling*
1 T. REAL Butter
1 t. vanilla
1 T. Fluf (* aka Marshmallow Creme in the South)
1 - lb. box confectioner's sugar
1 c. scant shortening (this means just under a cup...)
Enough Milk to make creamy
Add Peanut Butter 'until it looks right'
Enjoy!
*Special thanks to Neurotic Cousin Wife and Zoozer for sharing the filling recipe!

I love recipes with subjective instructions.
(And I hate when I comment with typos. Sorry.)
That sounds positively sinful!!
Thank You Thank You Thank you!!!!! I will be copying and keeping this in my files. This may become one of my "signature" desserts, lol!
My ass just expanded reading that.
crikey.
Aren't brownies supposed to have some sort of, uh, 'erb in 'em? Or is that just me?
SO, the filling is basically just fat and fat and some sugar?
Hell YES! I'll take two!
