Hitting a Bad Patch
Every so often, my medication decides to revolt on me. This happens to be one of those times.
The psoriasis is coming back, albeit slowly. The aching and swelling is overtaking me; I am walking like a very old woman.
I am sleeping a lot, and relying on Lodine more than ever.
I am scheduled for my next Bloodletting next week, with a follow up with Dr. Yup-Yup shortly thereafter.
Here's hoping that this setback is only temporary, as the final step/last option is a form of chemotherapy. It's allegedly mild. I don't believe it.
On that note, I am off to bed.
AGAIN.

Oh Renn! So sorry! Anything I can do? Send you some cookies, maybe? Some sunny California weather? I'll even keep the smoke here, as you probably don't need more health hazzards!
Hope Dr. Yup-Yup (seriously? awesome name choice!) can sort it all out.
sending good vibes and peace your way.
{{hugs}}
Renn, sorry to hear you've been under the weather. I hope it's only temporary too and a quick temporary at that.
Awww--big hugs and hopes that you are feeling better soon.
Renn, I am so sorry. Have you ever heard that people with psoriasis should not eat tomatoes? I wonder if you do - and if so- what your experience with them is?
Kenju- I have heard that all nightshades are prohibited when psoriasis is involved.
I DO eat nightshades, in small portions, sometimes.
This bout with exhaustion/psoriasis/aches is part of my illness. Sometimes it's great, sometimes not.
This falls into the 'not' category.
Hope it's a short temporary setback and things get better soon.
Hope your body quits fighting with itself soon. Sending good vibes your way.
Sending great thoughts and prayers that this will be short lived :(
Stupid psoriasis, anyhow.
Any chance you're taking vitamin D supplements? I recommend spending as much time in the sun as possible. I'll write you a note to get off from work if you want. I'm not expert, but I can forge like a blacksmith.
Get better. Now. {{{Please?}}}
I hereby promise to tit punch Dr Yup Yup if he does not provide immediate and non-suck relief. OR I could send you barbiturates. Your choice, babe.
Gah! The things you have to go through... whew.
Rest as much as you can and hopefully your body will heal quickly. We all agree with you that Dr. Yup-Yup is not inspiring - based on your prior stories/experiences. Maybe this time will be different?
